Scarlet stormed through the gates of the academy, fuming. One could practically see the steam coming out of her ears. Her face, in fact, was so red that it nearly matched her blood-red hair. “Out of my way” she shoved a younger girl out of her path and slowed down just a bit, seeing the dorms in the distance. This was her second year here and she could already tell that it was going to be hell. Just this morning she had learned that her mom was going to be in prison for at least another six months. Apparently, robbery was a ‘serious offence.’ And then she had been late to school, and now she was going to have to rush to make it to the meeting she had heard about. And she hated rushing.

She hurried into her new dorm and threw her bags onto the floor before kneeling down and picking out the prettiest makeup and best clothing that she could find. And well… in her opinion, that meant the shortest skirt and tightest top. After all, first impressions are very important… and there could be guys there.

She rushed out of the room, leaving her dirty clothing on the floor. Cursing under her breath, she walked up to the entry way of the conference room. And when she got there, she changed her entire appearance. Before she had been scowling and her posture had been hostile. But as she walked into the room, she straightened up and smiled.

There were three people there already; a rather attractive boy with a rather impressive looking mechanical arm. He was okay looking, definitely someone she’d be interested in… hanging out with. There was also a little girl and a very pretty blonde girl. She cocked her head sideways and considered who she was going to sit next to. Definitely the red-headed boy, but he seemed kind of busy at the moment. So she edged into the seat next to the blonde girl and smiled, "Hey, I'm Scarlet"
