As the bell above the door to the store gave its melodic tingle, the girl looked up from her doodling. It was nothing special; a stick figure, a flower, a sun. Looking up to the male, she smiled sweetly, giving a light wave in welcome.
“Why thank you, sir. Is there anything I can help you with?” She asked, not bothering to pull her normal flirtatious routine. There was no point, he wasn’t looking at her.
“We have a sale on apples today, half off.” She said, her eyes darting to the window as she spotted the horse outside. “Isn’t he a darling?” She cooed, always having a soft spot for horses.
