Esme took a couple quick steps backwards. People always reacted differently when being bumped into and this was no exception. "I'm sorry," she said quickly and inclined her head in apology. But he didn't seem at all bothered by her, which perhaps bothered her more than it should have. Feeling perplexed but face blank, she politely shook his hand. His skin was warm against her cool palm - she immediately drew her hand back and gripped her opposite arm.

"Hello My name is Benjamin what is yours," the brunette said warmly.

"Esme," she replied, flustered and unsure how to respond. In any other normal conversation she would have dealt well, but at that exact point in time she was already worrying over other matters such as why she was here and for how long she had to stay. She did, however, make a note that he was British. Maybe her elegant Irish accent wouldn't bother him, then.

"A odd situation we've found ourselves in isn't it?" he continued with a grimace. "Good thing we have allies whom we can depend on." The wink caught her off guard. Actually, even on guard she probably would have still gotten chills. Rosy color burned at her cheeks and she immediately turned her sea-green gaze past him so to occupy herself with something else.

"Yeah," she murmured and swallowed. "Allies." Out of nervous habit, the delicate girl began twirling a strand of her strawberry-blonde hair around her index finger. "So, ehm, you're in room eight, correct? It's nice to know someone..." Esme said quietly. She chewed her lip and twirled her hair and resorted to a semi-casual stance of leaning against the wall.
