I crossed my arms and grumbled. I hated being told to calm down, settle down, or any other variation of the phrase. I mean, does that phrase ever actually get someone to calm down? It usually just pissed me off more. However, the irritation I felt at the moment was the fact that I wasn’t flipping out, panicking, or losing my head. I was simply trying to think for the Buizel’s well being. I love animals, and I wasn’t about to let some scientist rip the little guy apart to figure out what made him tick if I could help it. Helping the Buizel, now named Layne as predicted, had no real benefit to me. I pushed those thoughts aside and took a breath. Whatever. And then Travis started talking about there needing to be a reason for the Buizel showing up. I rolled my eyes a bit, “Normally, I’d tell you that sometimes shit just happens to happen, but in this case I’m inclined to agree. Although for what purpose a Buizel in our world could accomplish is beyond me. Meh. Fuck it, if I have the night off, I’m gonna play some Gears. You want in?” I asked, flopping on the couch and turning on the TV.
“-Regular Show, now on Wednes-”
“-mah gawt, next year’s E3! Asfkjabfgaf-”
“-Godzilla attacking Japan on CNN-”
“National weather report-”
Wait, what? I went back a channel and saw footage of a Godzilla movie on the news. Weird. I wonder why-
That’s when the news story (see Trav’s last post) showed on the screen, “Whaaat the…fuck?” I asked, my jaw dropping, “Dude, Travis, get the fuck in here!”

Eleanor didn’t see the harm in confirming a few of her abilities. So long as she wasn’t giving any more than she needed to. She clenched her right hand and icicles shot out from the knuckles as ice formed over her skin, and in the other a fireball formed, her skin looking molten and burned, “I have limited control of fire and ice. And I can teleport. I’m an able fighter as well. You said one of your abilities, implying multiple. Care to share?” She thought about what he said about going to the library, “I need to get rid of my suit if we’re going to be mingling with the ‘normal’ people, but it needs to be somewhere I can come back to. Do you know of such a place?” She asked, flexing her hand a little as the fire and ice dissipated.

Alice raised an eyebrow as Castiel spoke of the apocalypse and shit. Jesus, guy really was drunk, wasn’t he? Although she wasn’t about to turn down free liquor. And the guy was passing money around like it fell out of his ass on a routine basis. She snickered a little at the thought. What she wouldn’t give to be able to do that. Meh, she had her fair amount of money. Or she did, before today. She still needed to figure out what the hell was going on here. Of course, that was when the door flew open. She knew the sound of a door being kicked open. After all, she’d done it herself on multiple occasions. She turned slightly as some hotshot cock sucker stood in the door, followed by some other pricks with guns, “The fuck’re you supposed to be, dick weasel?” She asked, leaning on her elbow. She recognized two of the guys as the men she had manhandled earlier. So they were part of some gang, “Your two boys here got whipped by a chick, now you think the five of you can take me on? Me? Come on, I need a good laugh.” She said, without even standing up. She’d let them have the first move. It’d likely be their last.
