Raven looked down at Clay, and then gave him a blood thirsty grin. Why bother threatening him? Just kill him. She raised the knife slightly preparing to bring it down on his exposed neck when she was distracted.
“Zarganna Dawn, it is you who have picked the wrong day to mess with us.”
Raven rolled her eyes.
Brilliant! Now the stupid agent is here. Nonetheless wouldn't hurt to tick her off a bit…Raven turned her gaze back to Clay, when another scuffle bought her eyes back to Angel and Zarganna.
Raven was seriously irritated now, and was about to say as much when she found herself staring at the barrel of a gun.
She quickly realised it was not aimed at her, but what was most unnerving was the fact it appeared to be hanging in mid air.
"Everyone, make a break for the southern gates, now,"
The voice appeared to be coming from the direction of the gun, and a brief probe detected the apparently attractive young man Raven had seen earlier. Raven smirked slightly, not quite so attractive now. She then processed what she had heard. Make a break for it? Raven felt like some spoilt little kid finding they could no longer keep the toy they'd found. She glanced down at Clay, her fingers itching to bring it done to his neck, logic telling her not too. After all she needed help, no doubt about that. Unfortunately her illusions were not going to help her unconscious. Then there was Connor…
That did it, with a grimace of irritation Raven dropped the knife and managed to walk over to where Connor was blown to by a rather annoying Clay.
"Looks like we're to go to the "Southern Gates" " Raven said with her usual sarcastic tinge to the words "Shame we don't particularly know where that is".
She moved down the corridor, before a strange boy in a gleaming metallic mask got her attention.
"Well, it looks like the agents are planning a masquerade ball for us, isn't that nice Connor?"
Sensitivity was not one of Raven's strong points. The boy didn't say a word. Annoyed by his silence, Raven probed through his memories.
<That's rather interesting> Raven sent to him <Seems like you'll stay silent. Doesn't bother me, people that don't talk back are a rarity. You can say something back just by thinking. At least then I won't end up bleeding out my ears. Doesn't really appeal to me. Not much does nowadays anyhow.>
Turning to Connor she stated.
"I like him. Won't talk back, can we keep him?" she asked mockingly, a sadistic smile twisting her lips upwards. It wasn't hard to open the cell door from the outside, and she opened it with a flourish, before sighing as her fatigue drained her good humour.
"Hmm. Now what do you suppose we do about them?" she gestured to the crazy fire lady, the good-natured guy with a book case, and the stupid necromancer, Ana. She didn't really like any of them, however the one that pointed the gun at Clay and the one with the bench were alright. She was annoyed that she had to rely on people to get out, however herself and Connor had been deeper in this maze of cells and honestly did not have much clue of how to get here. Plus the stray boy they picked up appeared to be new from his memories.
"Anyone want to actually tell as where the stupid gate is?"
