Noting how harsh the new scientist was, Jessica looked back to the subject momentarily, wondering why it mattered whether they used her real name or not. She was just a number now. Jessica looked down at her tablet as the heart rate of Elissa spiked briefly as they walked away. Strange...

The woman stepped into the lift with Mr Telsa, shrugged off his attitude for now, and hit the button to take them back to the ground floor. Once there, Saunders finally spoke as she walked across the landing pad to the rooms on the other side. "This is where the offices are. When you are not with your subject, you can either spend your time here, or in the canteen down the other end of the hall. We also have a library opposite the canteen." Jessica pushed the door open, and the pair were confronted with two rows of three spacious rooms. Each room had the same numbers as each of the scientist's subject's cell numbers, except for the heads, who's rooms had their names on the doors.

Walking Mr Telsa to his corresponding room, Jessica tapped in the code that was the same code for Elissa's cell. The door swung open and revealed a square room with two doors on the far wall. There was a desk on the left (fully kitted with a laptop, pens etc etc), a filing cabinet and water cooler on the right and a rubbish bin under the desk. Behind the leftmost door was the bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and sink, and behind the door on the right there was a wardrobe and a bed. "You should find everything you need. This is your space, in to do what you need to do," Jessica revealed. "I need to go organise Elissa's first test whilst you settle in, I trust you would like to come along later to 'calm' your subject. Her cell is being drained as we speak, so you have ten hours to come down and see her out of her tank," said the cold woman, looking at the man over her glasses, which had dropped further down the bridge of her nose.
