The cold, black iron was tough to the touch. I whispered "mihi in tabernaculo" and I passed though it as if it were smoke. My black dress flapped around my knees and my big combat boots stomped the ground. The sun was just begging to rise.
I finally arrived at the big doors, other students beginning to come forward to the doors. I walked in. Not many were here yet, but they would be soon. My locker opened easily. I'd never used a combo before... I kept my cloak on, but put my bag in the locker. Just as I closed it, a girl with light purple hair opened the locker next to mine. My first impulse was to run, but I stayed. As if she was a threat. Then, I noticed a tail peeking out from her jeans. I thought how funny it would be if she was on the end of my broom, and I guess I must have laughed aloud because she looked at me.
