Jason put his backpack into the back of the car as instructed and laughed about her comment about kidnapping someone if he hadn't decided to come along. He looked off into space as he thought that this must be what friendly banter was like. He had grown used to talking to himself over the years and was quite enjoying a conversation with another intelligent being. Jason snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Alex asking if he was coming or not. "Sorry." he said running over to the passenger side and climbing in. "Okay." he said in response to what she said about the fake ID. Unfortunately Jason couldn't lie. Ever. It wasn't that he didn't know how, but instead that his conscience wouldn't allow it. 'Well,' he thought, 'I don't know for a fact that she isn't sixteen. She never did tell me how old she was. For all I know I'm telling the truth.' That was a flimsy excuse at best but it would have to do. Jason buckled his seatbelt and then turned to Alex. "Ready to go."
