Isis had been up since early that morning. She was never one to get up too late in the morning. Because she was not like the other Zoras and thus could not live under water, she had devised a small set of living quarters for herself. She had found some nice ground at the top of the waterfall that had room enough for a small hut where she could sleep. She had a pen just outside that housed some cuckoos. Every morning she would wake up and gather eggs from the cuckoos so she could make herself some breakfast. She had a small fire pit with a small chest next to it which contained dry firewood and kindling. After breakfast she had other chores and duties to fill. There was a lot of climbing she'd have to do daily because the Zoras could swim up the waterfall when she couldn't. Isis had done some small things to help herself over the time she'd been living with the Zoras. She built some small ladders and even put up some easy rope bridges over the years. Getting down was never a problem though. She'd gotten used to diving off the waterfall and had a lot of fun with it now.

By lunch time, Isis had helped her friends catch their fish to eat and had gotten her own meal from it too that she'd just have to roast over a small fire. She took her meal up to her fire pit and soon after her belly was full. Her day was still just beginning though, because she had to do her training for her apprenticeship. She also had to practice with her powers, help the others with their work, make supper, and still make some leisure time. This was her normal day, and Isis had to admit that she did like a routine. She enjoyed training for something important. It made her feel special and it gave her a purpose. Isis missed her mom, and she had never even known her father, but she couldn't look back on a life that no longer existed. Those days were dead, and she had friends for once in her life. Granted she didn't trust all of the Zoras, and there were some Zoras who thought themselves to be better than her because of what they could do and what she was limited to. But there were some Zoras who accepted her, and a couple of them who she put her trust in. Ruto was one of them because she was the Sage who had practically taken her in. It took a lot for Isis to trust someone and that person would have to work really hard to earn said trust. But once she would trust someone, there wasn't much that Isis wouldn't do for that person, no matter the race. Isis sat on her bed as she finished eating and glanced at a small harp that she kept in her hut. She'd learned to play the song of water, and had even done her own composing to expand it a little. She smiled as she looked at it and then put her plate down to go train with the Sage of Water.
