Serenade began humming a tune. A tune unlike no other, for it was completely her own. Writing a song was much more of a challenge than learning one from someone else, but it was always the most rewarding, seeing a masterpiece that you yourself created. As she was humming, her head was going through the lyrics . “Perhaps I should add 'when you laughed', instead of just 'your laugh. … I suppose it would work better, especially if I change the pace.... That could work...”

Her eyes continued to focus on the sky, even after she finished,“It's always calm, yet there's always something sinister lurking on the horizon. That is why I love the sky, but it's also why I hate it. I've seen this same sky from the moment I was born. Mother tlls me it never used to be like that, and everyone was able to dance and sing freely from the walls of the castle. I look at the castle now, and I only see ruins, a destroyed bridge... what HAPPENED?” She asked with a sigh.

Her view was suddenly interrupted by silver locks and yellow eyes. She couldn't help but smile at his sudden appearance. “Hey. Haven't gotten to see much of you lately. Huh? You've been practicing non-stop. Don't push yourself, okay?”

She slid, making room for Salem “So much time seems to pass too quickly. It seems like only yesterday that we were playing Princess and Her Knight throughout the village... and I would ask you to do silly things like fetching cuckoos, pretending they were criminals.” She reminisced with a slight smile. “Now look at us, a decade later... where did it all go?” She asked.

She pulled out a small bottle of water, taking a drink. “Time... I feel that that is an important word... I guess it's because it's absolute... no one can escape it.... and here I am, talking about things I know little about,... I can't wait for the hour of twilight.... when I get to play my music for everyone... you haven't heard me in a while, have you? You should come, I have a few new tunes I'm going to play.

Her eyes wandered up, and caught the attention of a young woman, who smiled and waved at her. She tried to think of the girls name, witch meant she had never heard it. She seemed to now her though. Nevertheless, she smiled and waved back. She had gone out of her way to wave, after all.

“So, what brings you to see me? Was there anything you had in mind?”
