No wonder Hector had chosen her. King Priam's eyes were kindly as he watched her. She secretly wished she could stand before the king, and announce herself as a noblewoman. But no. She was born a servant, and forever she would remain a servant. The servant next to her, a man slightly taller than her, with sandy hair, was staring at the woman with his mouth gaping. She elbowed him lightly in the ribs, and shot him a look. He shut his mouth, and dropped his gaze to the ground. Thank heavens. She wasn't sure how Hector would react to seeing his new bride being mentally ravished by a servant boy.
