A wiry grin played across his lips as Yuko spoke. He knew this game but he was on her turf. He was smart enough to know he was outmatched here and now but he would poke and prod her as she was poking and prodding the others. As some of the others offered up their most prized possessions he tapped his pipe out and put it away. As Gui posed his question to the witch Dyew stood and approached the witch, coming close if she allowed him. She had no reason not to at this point.

Then he whispered to her with that same grin upon his face.

"..."

The smirk trailed to the other side of his face as he continued to whisper into the witch woman’s ear.

"..."

He pushed with his lead foot leaving the witch’s side. “The devil is in the details and I am very observant. You have pulled us all from our respective worlds to defeat an enemy you could not and yet you ransom us. You explain away the guilt of your action as a need to maintain some semblance of balance.” His smirk became a sneer and the sneer became an angry scowl but he was facing away from the witch now. “When you hire mercenaries it is normally the employer that pays them, not the other way around.”

Dyew paused before turning to face Yuko, his face once more stone cold. “I suppose you’ll want something that belongs to me?”
