Jade chuckled, "It's okay, I can handle him." She walked inside to wash off her hands and opened the bag of vegetables and fruit, "If you like to you can wash off the vegetables." Turning towards a pot that was had some water in it and grabbed it. Taking it towards the fireplace she set it on the hook so it was hanging and looked under it. Lifting one hand Jade watched as a fire started, smiling she walked over to the counter and proceeded to wash off the fruit, "I'll make the desert and you can make some soup."
Hearing a knock at the door Jade raised an eyebrow and went to go open it. Seeing a man standing there she slightly tilted her head to the side, "May I help you?" Jade didn't appear to be alert, but in her mind she was already thinking of ways to handle the situation.
