Kina was utterly confused but hugged Marcus tightly before running off, his fear urging her on. In her room she looked around sadly at all the wonderful things Mistress and her siblings had gotten over the great few years together. She sighed softly, grabbing a light backpack and racing around her room, putting in some clothes and necessitates. She was just about done, zipping her bag closed and tying her hair in a bouncy ponytail, knowing they'd be probably on the move. She grasped the one of the bag's straps, straightening to sling it over her back and head out, but as she did so her gaze fell over an open door in her room, leading to a small closet.
Kina's stopped moving, held her breath.
In her closet where all her precious instruments; when the Dark Mistress had found her, and her great musical talent, she'd gotten Kina beautiful violins, cellos, an acoustic guitar, small and large wind instruments, and a great piano rested downstairs. Bright blue eyes quickly liquified and spilled over as Kina dropped to her knees and trailed her fingers along glossy wood, smooth metal, coarse strings. Memories flooded her mind -- Sitting on her bed, practicing hard to show Mistress a song; performing little concerts for the family; playing games and dancing with her siblings to light tunes; playing softly to Violet's lovely voice. Kina shook her head, wiping at her eyes. No way could she take them with her... but... Kina picked out a small flute, her favorite. It fit in her pack just enough. Her gaze lingered on the rest of the precious pieces and she had to tear herself away and make herself race down the hall, fly down the stairs, run through a few corridors to leave it. She passed the large family room and almost burst into tears again at the large piano, sitting, waiting, to be played by her graceful fingers. She just turned quickly and ran to Marcus and Aria, burying her face in her hands. "Are we going to go find Mistress and Tristan and Violet now?" she managed to get out.
