The impudent little brat got back up to her feet as Legion strode on through the lines of superhumans, overseeing the process of the officers filtering the subordinates off to their respective locations. As Legion walked past her, however, she heard the sound of the nameless, insolent girl's voice--speaking yet again.

"Looks like I hit a nerve."

It was accompanied with a chuckle, one that set Legion's blood aflame with fury. She had expected to outright kill her if she kept on goading Legion, but at this point...no, there was a preferable rout. She would not end the impudent cretin now, much though it was in her power to do so. No. She would suffer. Legion would make her time here a living hell. Let someone else defy her and consequently become a brutal example to the others. This one was going to be broken slowly...and painfully.

The girl giggled at Legion with a smug expression on her face as the superhuman approached the inferior. "Still amused?" Legion said with a sadistic smile, before her knee flew up to brutally connect with the girl's stomach, and then her hand tightened once again around her throat, pulling her back up. "I will give you one last warning, vermin--consider it a blessing that you yet live." The smile vanished from her face, replaced with an expression that made it clear she meant every word. "Open your filthy mouth out of turn one more time, and I will end you here and now. Keep silent, and you will get to suffer a little longer."

She smirked as she forced the girl back into line, and then turned to keep on walking down the row of new arrivals, slowly dispersing as they received their information. None of them were ever going to overtake her. She was going to make sure of it. She had found purpose with her place in the military--as their weapon, their killing machine, their one-man army. Were that to be taken from her, Legion would...she would have lost all purpose in continued existence. What did she have without the military? She had no purpose, no meaning, no reason to exist.

These men and women...they were all threats to that.

((That 'last warning' is both IC and OOC. I've already sacrificed aspects of my character to accommodate your character's continued living but I'm not going to do it anymore. Your character isn't invincible just because she's a character, and if she keeps at it Legion will kill her.))
