"Drain the tank, remove the helmet." They were simple orders, and they had suddenly cut through the long silence, seeming to appear from thin air. There was only one other scientist currently in the cell with him, and it was a rather small, mousy man whom seemed to squeak in response before heading over to a panel of controls and beginning the process of draining Elissa's suspended animation tank. Ivan himself moved to place himself appropriately in front of the tank, where it's reinforced glass would slide open after the draining was complete. He ran his eyes along the subject that lay inside, a tinge of sadness reaching his eyes. He hated having to restrain her, and he especially hated that damn helmet. She was a beautiful young girl, and it was a pity to hide that. Ivan was known for having a soft spot for most of the subject, but no subject was treated better than he treated Elissa. If any words were used to describe their relationship, it would be said that it were almost like a parent treated it's child.
And because of this, it was Ivan who set himself as the one to free her from the helmet and restraints that bound her. If it were any other scientist, they were sure to die. And Ivan had to be in the room if any tests were going to be conducted, or else staff would fall short fairly quick. It was why she was up here, in the highest security of the building. She seemed to like the killing, of all things. The hissing of air broke Ivan's concentration as the tank began to open. The tail of his coat fluttered as he moved forward and removed his hands from his pockets, kneeling down in front of Elissa. He placed his hands on her shoulders before giving a faint smile. "I'm taking this helmet off now, okay, Elissa? It's time for more tests, but don't worry, I'm here." The words were whispered as Ivan began to work his hands to the back of the helmet. Soon enough, more hissing sounds were made as the helmet split open, folding away from Elissa's head and allowing her hair to fall free.
"There we go. All better?"
