Jeff walked with Linde and Simon the minute they started moving. It was go time and he knew it. The covenant was going to be here soon and they couldn't be sitting ducks. He looked back at the group as they were walking. "Let's go! Those covies won't be waiting for us to start moving!" He yelled to them, with that he stopped moving. In the air there was a light humming noise. He searched around for the source but couldn't see it. "Alright guys. Double time to the cliff! Now!" He said as he turned and began to walk faster waiting before he started running. That hum was from a phantom he could tell ever since the one they heard crash. He wasn't getting caught out in the open with a phantom gunning at them.
