Jennie's brown eyes snapped into a golden color, Medusa was curled tightly around her neck. Almost as a reflex, her fingers transformed into scales and her fingernails grew long. That sudden voice spooked her much more than it should have. She turned around and bared her fangs. A hiss emerged from her lips but it took a small moment to end when she realised who it was.

"I can't sleep around here," Jeannie admitted as she scurried near the cage. Her eyes reverted back to normal and so did everything else. She wore a heavy jacket and her dirty blonde hair was hung loose, "I'm searching for mice," she put it as simple as possible. Medusa was hungry, she wanted a juicy, fat mouse to kill and devour. Her tongue tickled the nape of Jeannie's neck.
