Fang slightly titled his head and smiled. “Don’t say sorry, Selene.. I should be the one saying sorry.. I didn’t make in time to protect you.” Fang glanced over at Lestat and said,” I realize it’s time for me to retire to the dorms. I’m sorry that I get so concerned about Selene.” Fang smiled and waved good bye half-heartedly and exited the room. He continued walking down the hallway and opened up the door so that he could feel the cool air caress his skin. Fang began walking, glancing at the trees, worry in his eyes. How could he have let someone hurt Selene like that? He was supposed to protect her. Just like that fateful day years ago when he saved her young life from a crazed Level E. He could remember the blood stained snow, and gently picking up Selene, the girl who held such a mystery to him.

Israele strolled to her room, opening the door. The door groaned, revealing the ancient qualities of the mansion. She entered her room and threw herself onto her crimson velvet bed comforter. She gently took of her shoes and laid down upon the bed, stretching her arms up over head dramatically as she yawned. It was still dark out, and she wasn’t in the mood to go to sleep early. She decided to walk to the front parlor, where a marble grand piano sat. She began playing pieces by Chopin and Beethoven. Very few people realized she was a classically trained musician.
