Cassandra laughed at that. Eros seemed rather grumpy but... well... Cass was also one not to judge a book by it's cover, to use a rather overused human form of expression. He had always believed in looking underneath someone's skin to see what they were really like, and here was a golden opportunity to do just that!
"You don't have to," he told Eros brightly. "I don't need it and it might be cold wherever we're going."

He tipped his head, his hair slipping down around his shoulders. When it crossed his face it seemed to obscure what little masculinity there was to him, and make him look more than androgynous. He looked downright feminine.
"Why do you hide back there?" he asked quietly. "Why don't you come out with us? We don't bite."
