"Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi! Since when did the universe go wavy like that?" Said the white faced man lying in the pool of rainwater, "I didn't know the world wanted to chew me up and spit me back out again." He picked himself up, dusting his lapel off with a powdered hand. He walks awkwardly towards the light at the other end of the alleyway, trying to soothe the possible bruise on his posterior. The darker purple just showed that he might need to do something about the patch if his suit was to be spared. He looked up, staring at the blocks of brick. He wasn't in Gotham any more. Gotham had a certain feel, a certain feel and this was somewhere else. So where the hell was this?
"Eat your heart out Dorothy." He mumbled, kick starting a little giggle. This disturbed a little beggar, stirring from the disturbance. The man was quite a sight...
"Uooh you?"
"Huh?" The man stops, raising a bony hand to his ear. "Whatsat?"
"Who you?" The beggar tried again.
"Me, why I'm just a man on a mission to bring cheer and smiles wherever I can. Speaking of, where exactly is here?"
"Wha?" The beggar chuckles to himself. "You dunno? Is New YORK!" He sang.
"Really? Well, thank you for being the first New Yorker I've met. Put it there." The man extends a hand the beggar takes it, grasping it tightly. But then his body begins to spasm. It shakes and burns as the electricity courses through the little man. Once convinced the beggar was practically cooked, he released his grip and carried on walking, giggling.
"New York! New York! Its a heck of a town! Ha ha haaaa!"
