Deliah woke up and walked to her dressor. She felt like a child again, being in her room and everything. It made her want to dance around and laugh act like a young kid, but she didn't. Instead, she grabbed a comb and began to do her hair, then she did her makeup. Beautiful, she thought.

Before she left, she grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and wrote in her elegant cursive:

Going out for a stroll, going to see who I can see. Don't worry, I'll be back by supper. Love, Deliah.

She laid the note on the counter next to the clean dishes. She wanted to eat before she left, but, she didn't want to get in a predicament with Alice. Alice was Chantry's wife, and not a nice woman. Deliah never could figure out what her brother saw in her.

It was a beautiful sunny day, with only a few clouds. The streets smelled fresh and friendly faces surrounded her. She saw a silver car she had always liked that appeared about 6 years ago. Now that she had her own car, she didn't find it as fascinating, but she still loved it.

Casually looking around, she walked towards the car and smiled approvingly at it.

I wonder how everyone is, she thought, thinking of Eva, Bonnie, Gunner, and people like that she had known. Maybe when she left this time everyone could keep in touch.
