Tina, however, had gotten to school on time. She had run the entire way from her house which meant that she had made the bell with time to spare. Unfortunately, she had to go to likely the most boring class she had in the day; chemistry. Not only was it first thing in the morning, which meant it was right after Tina's workouts, but the teacher was absolutely soporific. Tina had propped a book under her chin, and had opened her chem book vertically on the table in front of her to hide her face from the teacher. That way she could write ideas for katas or just plain sleep without being seen. She had just started to sketch when the doors of the class opened.

The first thing noticeable for most people was the flame-red hair. The first thing Tina saw was her eyes; cold, hard rocks that sucked all life from her face. Those were not the eyes of a normal person. They were the eyes of a fighter; or, more accurately, the eyes of a killer. The girl sat down next to Tina, who glanced over at her before she went back to sketching some kata ideas. It didn't look like the other girl wanted to talk too much.
