Linde read into her instruments and found that the Banshee she had jacked was beginning to get glitchy. Staying inside would be hazardous and a mistake and so she decided to get rid of the damn thing.
She looked over to the side and saw that there was a good place to crash the Banshee and so she guided it to that spot and jammed the stick so that it stayed straight on course. She opened up the hatch and jumped out just before it crashed into the base of a giant tree stump, caving in the front of the ship to the point where it was halfway down the ship's gullet. She landed and rolled, taking light damage to her shoulder guard in the process but otherwise unharmed.
She ran back towards her comrades and decided to take up a defensive position nearby in case they needed her. Without a firearm she was otherwise useless against Banshees once they were above a certain altitude. For now, she decided to wait.
