"Dawn," Dawn shakes her hand firmly and keeps her other arm around Echo.

"Echo is just a bit too smart for her age... She doesn't really belong in a regular elementary school, so I try to home school her as much as I can... And sometimes she gets bored and follows me to school." Dawn smiles a bit and Echo shrugs, a whimsical giggle escapes her lips.

Of course, Echo was much smarter than most eight year old children, that was a side effect of her gifts. They matured her at a faster pace than other children, and Dawn couldn't risk putting her in a school with regular kids. It would be much to risky, because even though Echo was intelligent, she was still a kid and a tough one at that. If anyone stepped her path or bullied her, her powers would whirl on emotions and the entire situation would blow up... Literally...
