It had the effect he had wished for as she gasped at his touch. The girl faced him and at this distance, she was stunning. So fresh. She looked like a deer caught by the lights at first, but after a moment she regained her composure. The people around them were facing their own interactions and card games, idle chatter arising from each table in the tavern. As he pulled her closer, Aaron felt her body tense, and then relax as she gave in.
When he looked back up at her from he hand, she had blushed and smiled. The young man smiled back at her, careful not to show his fangs. Maybe they had showed for a second, but the absence of light would help him stay concealed. When he finally let her go and she took her hand back, Aaron nodded at her wordlessly. She was interesting this one. A lot of his victims would just give in at once, but this one seemed to have more wits and will.
The confusion displayed on her face as she wondered how he'd known about her aunt docking her pay, and Aaron couldn't help a smile. However short her confusion was.

"It is my pleasure, sir," she said with a smile, and played with her hair. "But, I fear I am at a disadvantage. You know my name, but you have yet to mention yours. Come, come. Fair is fair,"

Aaron smiled when she asked whether he was hiding from someone.
"Forgive me my manners," he said and looked her over once, and then found her eyes again. "My name is Aaron Blackmoore. At your service." he said with another slight bow.
Then he grabbed his wine and took a sip, nodding in appreciation, looking at her over the glass.
"And no," he started again. "I am not hiding from anyone." the lie tasted sweet on his tongue. "I prefer taking my strolls and have my...meals during the darker hours of the day."
Aaron Blackmoore smiled to himself at the joke, wondering whether she would understand, but doubted it.
"How is that a beautiful girl like yourself, finds herself waiting tables in a place like this." Aaron asked her and tilted his head. "No offence, it's a lovely establishment." he added, making sure she wouldn't take offence to what he had said.
He meant no harm.
