Emmaline smiled brightly to Aaron, her eyes flashing with interest and curiosity. He was a traveler; he had seen the world. Emma was desperate to pry more of this information out of the man, but bid herself to keep her tongue. To travel was a wild dream for the simple girl. It captured her interest and her passions in life. To travel and preform. . . Nothing could please her more in life than that. She wanted to know everything about his travels, where he had been, who he had seen, what had he done? The questions pouring into her head seemed endless, when one fell another was quick to replace in the depths of her mind. And the mentioning that he was planning to stay brought excitement inside her. A traveler. An explorer. She found herself wondering what it was he was looking for, and where he could find it.

Emmaline smiled as he asked for the dorms and saw no harm in answering his question to the best of her knowledge. "The dorms to rent are simply just down the street to the left. Walk about five or six blocks and you are there, simple and easy," she replied, her confidence growing enough to look at him straight in the eyes. She twisted her skirt with her hands and looked up to him, a playful smile on her face accompanied by a warm blush. "I'll give you a tour of the city if you tell me stories about your travels. The world, you say? I want to travel so badly, it is the wish I choose ever time I see a falling star. Gosh I would love to see anything outside London. Especially Paris, yes, I would very much like to see Paris one day. Have you been?" She clasped her hands together in waiting for his response, hoping that he would accept her offer, or at least agree to tell a simple girl about his worldly travels. Nothing more could give her greater joy.

Emma paused from her silent plea as Tabitha shouted at her, the woman actually working in front of the counter for once. "Emma, you are not paid to chat all day. Come come, you have dishes to clean," Tabitha complained.

Emma turned her head to look at her aunt, nodding in acceptance. She was surprised to find that in her conversation with Aaron, most of the patrons had departed for the night. She had spent longer talking than she had first anticipated. It was almost time to close. She smiled softly and curtsied to the man. "I must go, Tabitha calls. I do hope we can continue this later, I desperately want to hear your stories," she said with a giggle.
