She smiled, glad that at last class was over. It made her ears ring; she was always right next to trumpets or a tuba. Every set, there was at least one playing their heads off about a foot and a half away from her ears. It didn't help that the teasing hadn't stopped, that made her head hurt more. She needed quiet, she needed Myran to notice so she didn't have to ask him, and she needed English. A growl of frustration almost passed her lips; English was at the end of the day! She had Creative Writing after lunch, but then it was Math. She hated Math, wanted it to not exist! The very thought of seeing 'her' letters being used as numbers infuriated her. English and history, those were what she loved. And colorguard. But she was a reader and a writer first. The bright blue haired drum-major frowned at her for daydreaming, but she didn't care. Let the Icy Senior freeze her, so long as it made the overwhelming sounds and emotions stop! She rubbed her right temple as she headed inside to change. Finally, she could look pretty again, the vain feline purred at that thought. Her tail swished happily--until someone stomped on it. Damn jocks....No respect for us, when we have the right of way! We with the six foot long metal poles and the know how to use them as more than a pretty prop. She whipped around, purposely letting the hollow metal ring against the fool's head. She was tired of it.
