Oh you clever little girl. he thought to himself as a cheeky smile ran over his face. She had remembered the meal he hadn't consumed at the tavern, and the excuse he had given for leaving. Aaron nodded and decided to continue his role as a true gentleman. "I do have some matters," he admitted and then looked at her as she began to walk. Then he held out his arms. "But I fear that my reputation as a gentleman would be at risk if I didn't see you home safely, after what has transpired here tonight." Aaron said and walked with her. He nodded in agreement to her comment about the weather, and then smiled as he looked at the ground they walked.
"The night has always fascinated me, more-so than I should care to admit. What about you? Are you a night owl or a morning dove?" Had she any idea what she was asking? The girl was so innocent that Aaron could see it shining out of her eyes, and after a moment of recovering from the apparent amusement it caused him, he gazed upon her eyes yet again. "Night owl." he said and winked playfully. "Definately a night owl."
And she will never know the meaning of the words. Aaron's mind went.

They walked along the street and Aaron looked at the moon as well; it really was a beautiful night. "What about yourself?" he asked her and shot a glance in her direction, before scouting the streets again. Would she like to go home, or did she feel same enough to go on an evening stroll with him? Aaron hoped so. She was beguiling to a vampire, in the sense that her innocent mind made her all the more interesting. Interesting and... tasteful.
Aaron made sure that their pace was even and slow so that they didn't cut their little walk short, and he would get to spend more time here. He offered his arm to her, and let her take it.
"You said the night fascinates you." the look he gave her, made his eyes glow for a mere second. It wasn't always something he could control. No vampire could. See, when they transformed, their eyes changed as well and the pupil gained a more gold-ish color at night, behind the blackness of Aaron's own. Only the moonlight made it noticeable. "How so?"
