"What's your problem, Parks?" The boy growled, rubbing the back of his head. "Put simply, you're extremely rude," she growled back, tail thrashing. His red hair and dark skin gave him away; this was the quarterback of the Varsity team, a fire-type mutant with as short a temper as Kyren's was long. The Jerk was always giving any and all mutants not in his circle a hard time. The senior was about a head taller than Julye, not that she noticed. Until he stepped closer, looking down at her. "What did you say,little band geek?" He sneered, with a look of disgust on his face like he smelled something bad. Very few jocks liked the band, except as punching bags (although there were some who were kinder, a small few in/having been in the band). "You. Heard. Me," She stood at her full height, slipping out of her shoes to stand as she normally would, on her toes like any cat, "You are rude. You walk through the school as though you own it, which you do not. You interrupt our practices, cause problems for those of us trying to get to class on time after the already difficult trip back to the bandroom through a hallway full of students!" She poked his chest, eyes dark and narrow as she listed the things he (and the men he represented) did continueously. The hallway heated up, both from his gift and hers; the air around her was thick, and to other Empaths was a deep red. Students scurried out of the halway and into classrooms to get away from the creeping feeling they might get hurt.
