Putting the Axe on his drawer, even Sonny coughed at the fumes poisoning the air around him. "Good god," he waved his hand in front his face, then began to look for a shirt to wear, but decided against it, at least until he straightened his hair. The long mirror standing next to the window allowed him to style his hair in the room, and avoid another trip to the bathroom. He was somewhat of a bathroom hog, but didn't want to make it obvious to his roommates. Plugging in the neon blue and black straightener, he allowed it to get hot while he set it on the hardwood floor, stretching his arms out.
Was Gale this much of a sleepy head, he asked himself, then mentally hit himself in the forehead for even asking. He wasn't supposed to be paying this much attention. WHY was he paying this much attention? The questions never ended. When the iron was done heating, he picked up it up and ran it through his dark strands of hair, causing little puffs of steam to come out as he did so. He continued this for a couple minutes, until the front was completely straight, and shiny in the lights of the room. He then went towards the back of his head, finishing it up with some mousse. He tried to speed up the process, even though usually it took 20 minutes to get his hair JUST the way he wanted it. But he didn't want Gale to think of him as another one of the chicks in this house. If this meant frizzy hair, so be it.
