Cody was near the point of drooling when he saw the half-prepared plates of food. The pancakes looked heavenly, and bacon was one of Cody's favorite foods. "That looks delicious," he said with a smile. He walked around the counter into the kitchen, picking up a spatula. He flipped the scrambling eggs around while she worked on the bacon, anxious to help her get this meal done faster. "Turtle. That's a cute name," he admitted. A cute name for a cute girl, he thought. "I'm Cody. I don't think we've met before," he noted, though it was obvious.
