Desary smiled to Aaron, her eyes shimmering red in the moonlight glow. Something in Aaron's words struck her strange. She had never known him to be one that saved his meals. Playing, now that was a different story entirely. Temptation and human lust only made the blood sweeter when it was laced with pheromones. To play and eat was a favorite game that Desary took part in, but never had she saved a human for another night. The idea seemed ridiculous to her. And yet, Aaron seemed determined to allow this girl to keep her life for another night. His reason's for this, Desary would never understand. Even in human life she was wooed by money than love. She had been turned by a vampire that was content on keeping her as a mistress, a prize. That accommodation had only lasted so long. One gifted with the taste of human blood, her thirst could never be sated.

She frowned at Aaron, deeming her almost protective over this human girl. It was not right. Prey was prey, but to fight over a human? Even Desary would not stoop that low. After all, it was no challenge for the siren charm a young, lively man into her chambers. Any would do.

She smiled however, her playful demeanor not tainted by his remark. She was curious as to what drew Aaron to savor the girl for another day. "Does your lunch have name?" she asked, her eyes shimmering with mischief. "Or did you not bother to find out? And playing with your food is all good and well until it goes rotten." Desary frowned now, her eyes catching his. She knew well enough that even vampires could not resist her lovely charm. Aaron was no exaction, a friend she had known many times. But tonight, something was different. He did not look at her in the same was as usual. The thirst less hunger was dim inside his eyes, a thought that Desary could not fathom. Her eyes flickered back to the apartment, wondering if that girl could have anything to do with this. No, that was impossible. What interest would Aaron find in a pathetic filth like her? Nothing. She was food, nothing more. Right?

"Well then, don't wait too long. This is a dangerous city," Desary cooed, glancing back at the apartment. "Just don't have a tantrum when your pleasures run out. We may have all of eternity, but she must still die one day. Be it your hands. . . Or someone else's" Desary smirked to Aaron, waving good-bye. "All of this chivalry has simply murdered by good mood. Au Revoir, Monsieur. Maybe later on we can play our own little game," she said with a wink, heading off into the darkness of the city. She shivered slightly, disgusted by the thought of finding pity on a mortal.
