Her tail thrashed as the Jerk began to attempt to cuss her out. He didn't even seem to realize her body shaking with the power she was getting from him: raw fury. Her lip quivered slightly, a simple ploy. "Aw, you gonna cry now, Kitty?" Kitty. The one word in the universe she couldn't stand. The emotions flared; people were now running toward the emotion, knowing a fight was about to begin. The Jerk's hands glowed with pale blue flame; Julye stepped back, a snarl escaping her lips and her clawed fingernails seeming to grow. The two circled around each other as Kyren, having put a senior in charge of the class, ran with the crowd; she was the automatic referee for these kinds of fights. The school didn't like them, but they allowed controlled ones to happen sometimes, often under the guise of the match being one of Kyren's "Control Tests." It actually was; many of the matches consisted of her students, who were the naturally more agressive and needed a different style of testing than usual.
