Gwendolen jumped back when the beast jumped out from the carriage pulling Johanne with her to keep her from harms way, this couldn't be easy for the girl to see, her old master reduced to this state, she gathered she must have cared for the man to want him saved so badly. “It’s drawing other abominations to our position. We must kill this beast and get out of here as quickly as possible!” Hearing this Gwen's eyes widened in fear as she scanned the darkened woods for any signs of the abominations closing in on them, mustering some courage she pulled the child behind her "Stay behind me" she said walking to stand next to William.
