Maya shook her head slowly. "Bad things have happened to her...she's built walls of steel around herself. It's sad, actually." She gasped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to look into Inu's goldenrod eyes.
"I do what I have to to protect myself." She said. She looked tired, and much older than she really was. "Go home, Maya, get some sleep. I know for a fact you've been up since at least 5am." Maya hesitated.
"Are you sure? The club..."
"Tallon, Ria and I can handle it. It's the least Ria can do after trashing my apartment." Maya nodded.
"O-ok."
