I groaned and smacked my forehead. "I knew this was going to happen."
I laughed at her suggestions. "The boy I covered with orange juice was the telepath. I'm neither of the others, either. Wow, that was a confusing sentence. Back to the point... what was the point? Oh, yeah, I have a sixth sense, that helps me with my actual power..." I was not going to tell her my power. Based on what I had learned from her in the past few minutes, she would end up calling me Siren. And if there's one thing I hate being called, it's a Siren.
"Um... I can't read your thoughts. But I know that you're excited and you really wouldn't like it if I gave you a tomato. And I know that giving you sugar is a bad idea... and you're a witch on one side. I learn facts that will end up helping me in one way or another in the future, not your actual thoughts. I'd presume you're thinking about something with sugar in it...?"
She rubbed her temples, not sure if the last sentence was right... her sixth sense had been unusually vague about that.
