Zane had just returned to the village after hunting, he met up with his friend Alec. "Hey." Zane said as he handed Alec some meat, their families lived together, the deal was Zane hunted and Alec cooked. Zane was startled when one of the kings guard walked up to them. "You two there!" he ordered. "any unusual birth marks, of a dragon possibly?" he asked. Zane thought it an odd question. "Possibly." Zane said sarcastically knowing he had one. "If you do the king will grant you lots of gold." the guard said insensitively. "Well yes then." Zane said, the guard obviously didn't believe him "Here." Zane said showing the guard the tattoo on his right shoulder.
Thorn was still trapped in his egg Curse this fate! he said to himself, but all his small body could get out was a mute wine. Thorn then noticed a large THUMP beside his egg. Please let that be someone Thorn wished silently.
