"You may." Zane said as Thorn did mentally at the same time. Alec stroked Thorn's back and he purred again "He likes you." Zane said. Thorn looked around him and let out a mute wine.
Thorn looked around as he was being pet by Alec If you don't mind I would like to fly a little, I won't leave I promise Thorn thought to Zane.
"Go ahead little guy." Zane said. Thorn launched himself off Zane's shoulder and spread his wings, he flapped a couple times and took flight, if you could call it that, it was more like a clumsy glide.
ZANE! Thorn mentally yelled to him as he was about to crash, but Alec got under him and caught him.
"thanks Alec." Zane said to Alec as Thorn leaped back on Zane's shoulder.
