Fenris sat just beyond the kingdom, her silver body resting on the soft grass of the sloping hills. Inhaling greatly, she tried to clear her mind from the fog of sleep trying to consume her. Two guards were making their way over to where she rested, their armor clanking as they moved through the odd terrain. One nearly slipped on a particularly wet patch of grass but he had quickly righted himself and continued on, more determined than ever.

Fenris merely watched, too content to move over to them. Soon enough they were at her feet, panting and sweating underneath their heavy armor. Exhaling with silent laughter, she waited for one to speak. "Dragon, the King is summoning all unclaimed dragons to be chosen by Riders." One spoke as he adjusted his chest piece.

"summoned?" She spoke softly. "If it is the King who needs me, I will be there." Both guards seemed relieved, but were quickly deterred by the journey back to the kingdom.
