"How do you feel right now?" she asked. Melodie contemplated this. "Thirsty," she decided. Dr.Hathaway pouted. "Aww, poor little 10742," she mocked. "Do you remember everything that happened today?" "Yes," Melodie answered through gritted teeth. "And can I please leave now?" Dr.Hathaway laughed. "Fine. But we'll be doing some more check-ups today," she motioned to the guard. "Take her away." He nodded, grabbed Melodie's shoulder and led her back to her room. She held up her shackled hands, and the guard grudgingly undid the hand-cuffs.
