A slight chill ran down Ciel's spine as a white haired elf passed by. For just a moment, their eyes met, before she continued on her way, seemingly towards the inn that Ciel had just left. Even after she was gone, there was something about her that bothered Ciel. Her blood red eyes looked as if they had seen terrible things, and almost as if there was something hidden behind them. For a moment, Ciel watched her as she continued walking towards the inn. Then, shrugging, he turned away. It was only a feeling after all. Putting his staff forward, Ciel continued walking, passing by a blond woman, and a white haired man, both elves. It was rare to see so many elves outside Trailwhisper. Was it a coincidence that the white haired girl was also an elf? Or was it a sign that something unusual was about to occur? Unable to ignore it, Ciel turned back towards where the white haired elf had gone.
It was only a feeling, defying all logic, but something it was those feelings that led to the most interesting things....
