Kai stared at Isabelle as she untied her hair and shook it, letting it flow to the side of her face, cupping her milky skin. Then Kai remembered what drew him to her in the first place. She lipped on her hat and he just wanted to punch Carmine for being so damn close to her. He wanted to be the one smiling and holding her hand. His lips nearly parted in that perverted way he gets sometimes, embarrassingly enough. He quickly regained his cool composure and watched Isabelle smartly avoid him. He wanted to laugh and shoot another sly flirty remark, hoping to see the pink blush on her cute cheeks and watching her eyes giggle yet her feet would drag her away instantly making him want to follow eagerly.

Instead, he found himself in a taxi cab with Ezra. He sighed and asked the driver to drop them off at the hotel Ezra's mother has recommended for them to stay. He hoped it was near isabelle's room and that she was NOT sharing one with that guy she was all buddy buddy with. The thought made him shiver with anger.
