Kira brought her hand back, and began twitching her fingers, as though she was playing the piano. Her face went from one of happiness and laughter, to one of stone. Her eyes went wide and her body froze.
"D...Did you get bit?" She slowly whispered. She took a step back, and grabbed the nearist thing that would fit in her hand, her small pocket knife. She held her hand out in front of her, eyes growing even wider.
"I can't have you in here if you did..." She started. "I would have to...." She cut off, remembering the events from earlier in the day. The pocket knife fell from her hand as she dropped to her knees. She put her head in her hands.
"H...How could I have done that?" She questioned herself. "I...I killed someone! But...no...it wasn't a person. It couldn't have been. It wasn't alive...."
