Chiyu sent a friendly smile towards some of the patrons, who gladly returned them. She could visibly see Kazuo getting nervous, trying not to laugh at the comment about having stars. Walking towards an open booth, she sat down waving Kazuo over to sit across from her. "Diners don't have stars, think of them as fast food places," dear lord, did Kazuo even know what that was? "Okay, a diner is a place for families to go for a cheap, easy meal." She explained picking up a lamented menu. The words written in English, along with the Japanese translation on the bottom.

"Just relax, most people here are middle-class. Don't worry though, the food here is good, I've been here a few time with some friends." Giving a reassuring smile, she set the menu down as a waiter came up.

"What would you like to drink?" An english accent detected from the Japanese. "We'll have two Pepsis." Nodding, the man left.
