December looked over at Damien and smiled, returning his greeting. "Hello."
Putting her open palm against the ground, she frowned. Everytime there weren't electric currents running underneath her, it put her in a weird sense of being, as if she wasn't safe. Anyone could have guessed that her favorite places to hang out were near generators and other big power sources; they filled her with the warm, tingling feeling of currents that she just couldn't get enough of. "What's your power?" she asked the boy, looking down at her neon blue nails yet again.
She felt the heat in her cheeks rise a little, but pretended that it wasn't there.
