Damien chuckled at the thought of her iPod. Looking back at it and replaying the situation in his mind, it had been a little on the comical side. "Science, definitely science. What about you?" History was too boring for him, and Math was nice, but it involved numbers that had been repeated over and over, and, often times, he saw the answer and steps before he could figure it out on his own, which killed the purpose. English was like technology, the words never-changing and always repeating, repetitive. Those words brought on predictions of future words, and once they had been read, past-read words mingled with presently read words -- a problem in every subject, but most prominent in a class with nothing but words -- and all of it created a jumble of words that just made story time for Damien into migraine time.
