Jade sat by herself on a small rock in the cave, her green eyes looking downward at her bare feet. She licked her lips a bit, running her tongue over her teeth, the venom was a bittersweet taste. She heard a small hiss behind her and she smiled, picking up the small snake and letting it climb up along her arm.
"Hello." She says to the snake in parcel tongue. The snakes black, almost bejeweled eyes cast on her.
... So you do hear me. The snake asks back and Jade gives a small nod.
"I'm afraid so." She shrugs, not really concerned about what the others thought about her at this point.
