From Taylor's private bedroom, Liz kicked visciously against the knob on the door. Something had fallen in front of it in the midst of the chaos, and she'd been left to worry and panic about whatever the hell was going on on the opposite side. With several powerful kicks, she crippled the door, dislodging the barricade on the other side, and hastily pulled her way through the small space she'd created to escape.
She saw that the club had errupted into chaos, the air choked off with smoke and plaster-dust. There was a woman being hauled off by Duncan and another female she didn't recognize, and she looked to be critically injured.
But there was only one person she was looking for anyway.
"Taylor! TAYLOR!"
She sprinted, flat-footed across the club floor skidding to a stop when she saw him hovering over Andrea.
Approaching the pair tentatively, her heart pounding in her chest, Liz went and grasped Andrea's wrist, trying to feel for a pulse, trying to search for his memories...
...trying to push some of her life into his.
Nothing.
"Taylor," she whispered.
