"Looking good girlie!" Skylar said as Ade spun around. Her phone buzzed once in her pocket, one new text message. She opened it to find a text from her manager that said simply, "saw you and Todd on TV today, perfection!" His texts were always so encouraging, like nothing bad could ever happen. It dawned on her that Todd hadn't left yet, she went over and sat on the couch next to him, "don't you have to do a sound check or anything before your show?" Maybe Todd's shows were different, but Skylar always had to be there at least an hour or two early for makeup and sound check and all that fun stuff. She couldn't wait for her next show, being on stage was without a doubt the best feeling in the world.
